Depends on what info source you trust. It SOUNDS like Valentin stepped on a few toes and set a few bridges on fire. It would be interesting to hear the REST of the story! |

Roadracing World has a story on what happened to Valentin: http://www.roadracingworld.com/news/motoamerica-va lentin-debise-will-not-be-racing-in-2019/ Does seem odd that someone with his success rate wouldn't be picked up by SOMEONE. |

I thinkk Debise might have worn out his welcome as speculated. When you carry yourself like Debise did around the paddock, you don't get the benefit of any breaks. Just my opinion. |

I don't think anything but Superbike is going to be broadcast on FS2. At least that's the way I read the press releases. And yeah I feel like commercials are coming back too, which was the best thing about the Bein coverage. I don't know if it's being broadcast live, but I kinda hope it's tape delayed so they show the whole race. Damn it. |

Hey Harlan, I saw your post in the MotoGP thread. Did you see "Mr. Hannah Lopa" will be riding a Panigale V4R this year in MotoAmerica Superbike? (Message edited by jaimec on February 16, 2019) |

I'm with Fresno re; Debise. As far as MotoAmerica broadcasting live, I think we all know how that would impact schedules AT the tracks. So if you're attending one in person, you might see the SUPERBIKE races ON TIME, but it would jack up the rest of the weekend if there were any on-track delays from other supporting race series. Broadcasting delayed would allow for schedule slippage at the track, but would also promote the need for "spoiler alerts"!!! |

I have to admit I never really interacted with Debise at the races I've attended. Come to think of it, I don't think I've ever seen him other than on the track or in the post-race ceremonies. OTOH, I saw Roger, Toni, Cameron and JD all the time. Hey Dennis, on FB I got a friend request from someone who works at "Steel Eagle Engineering" but I don't recognize the name... |

There's only one person who works at Steel Eagle Engineering! Gotta be careful of that guy!

I just saw Debise on several occasions act like an a-hole for lack of a better term. Of course, it's a very small sample size. One example is after a couple races when the bikes were impounded for post-race inspection. It's a slow procession into the impound area and Debise would crowd in, and weave past guys like he was above all of that stuff. I distinctly remember the first time is saw him doing it and I remember thinking "Who is THAT a-hole? Oh, it's Debise." It just wasn't a good look for him. Again, small sample size but I have been to the MA races for many years and most of the riders are great people that put up with us drunk fans quite well LOL, so I don't think we were just catching Debise on a bad day(s). Anyhow, the MA streaming doesn't appear to have On-demand functionality? I might consider that package if it was on-demand-especially if FS2 was going to be live with commercial interruption. It's so great to be able to watch the races on your own schedule. |

I did notice that. MA Superbike is shaping up to be better than last year. That is kind of exciting. It's a shame that the Supersport class will not have FS2 coverage. Now if Eslick could find a ride! He's another guy who may have rubbed some people the wrong way with his antics. But Danny is super cool to the fans an of course will always have won the Championship on the 1125R back when the racing was at it's PEAK ! I kinda hope he might get a Supersport ride. Put his ass back on a 600 and see what kind of damage he can do. He always was able to ride a 600 like a beast ! |

I was reminded that Debise was the one who dropped an F-Bomb on live TV in his post race interview last year. |

Wow. I saw the rev limit of that V4 Panigale. 16,000 RPM. Crazy. That bike is going to be a beast. |

I ordered a large. Mistake. So much for the advice from the shirt maker...that I would be "swimming" in an XL. |

Road Atlanta this weekend, but Fox Sports isn't broadcasting the race, just "highlights" on Tuesday. I guess if you want to watch the race "live" you either have to be there, or pay for the streaming service? THAT SUCKS!! Bring back beIN Sports! This is as bad as when they first formed the series and televised on the CBS Sports Network. That sucked too, but at least they had Colin Edwards providing commentary. |

Let me check again... Thanks for the "Head's up." Found it. It doesn't show up when I search on "MotoAmerica," it shows up when I search on "Motorcycle Racing" which is pretty damned generic. In fact, it covers a lot of races I don't care about (mostly motocross and arenacross). If I try to record the series, I might get all of that, too. At least I was able to set up to record this round and the next at COTA. (Message edited by jaimec on April 04, 2019) |

I think it sucks that they aren't televising Supersport for MA. I am pretty sure we are going to have to see commercials during the Superbike races. Hopefully the races won't be televised live so we won't miss any of the actual race. Seems like a good portion the action happens during commercial breaks.... I personally think we are going to miss Bein Sports coverage. |

Yeah, I remember the "Bad ol' Days" of Speed coverage. You'd come back from a commercial break and the rider who was leading the pack at the beginning of the break is nowhere in sight and other than the announcers mentioning what happened, you never SAW what happened. I had a friend who SWORE the pit boards had a sign saying: "Commercial break: ATTACK NOW!!" that they'd hold up for their riders. |

Murphy's Law situation for sure. I wonder if Jason Pridmore is going to be doing the color commentary for this race or is he still on the shelf recovering? |
