Lorenzo 4TW Tied with Rossi now... I'd like to see Marc just keep the pressure on Jorge so that Valentino can make it 10 championships. |

Anybody else notice something interesting on the front brakes of the Ducatis? More Buell/EBR technology making its way onto other bikes? |

Lorenzo said it best: Now he and Rossi start again from zero. The remainder of the season will be epic! |

I know for a lot of you that wasn't the most exciting race of the year... but after what happened in Indianapolis I was on the edge of my seat the whole race. I was disappointed that Rossi couldn't pull off his "Argentina Magic" in the closing laps, though. |

JLo got a great start, Vale got a rotten start. End of story. |

He didn't have the best of starts in Argentina either. But he overcame a five second deficit, overhauled Marquez, and went on to win when Marquez crashed out. Usually, it takes more than just a "bad start" to derail the Doctor. Even when he was third, he didn't make any inroads to the leaders. In post race interviews, he had no explanation, either. |

Vale got the ever-important first row qualifying effort this week, but someone needs to remind him that qualifying in P3 means nothing when you get to T1 in P5. It took him 2 laps to get back to P3 and at that point it was already over. I too was hoping the hard tires would kick in again, but the tires didn't seem to be a factor. Vale obviously lacked the pace to stay with the front 2. |

http://www.asphaltandrubber.com/motogp/motogp-2016 -calendar-predictions/ Considering how Indy has outdrawn COTA every year they've run together, one does have to wonder why they're considering eliminating it instead of the round in Texas. If the issue is transporting equipment back and forth, then reschedule COTA to just before the summer break, and Indy right after. The distance between Austin, TX and Indianapolis, IN is greater than the distances between almost any two countries in Europe where the races are held!! |

Marquez on the pole, Lorenzo is the "meat" in a "Honda Sandwich." Rossi is in Row 2, and hopefully doesn't blow the start this time. Lorenzo seems to have the best pace (what else is new) though Marquez is certainly capable of one or two "explosive" laps (as he showed during qualifying). |

BTW, as much as I like Lorenzo, I am REALLY hoping Rossi can pull a rabbit out of his hat this weekend to keep it "Interesting." |

What's the 'statute of limitations' before actual race results are discussed here?? Obviously they are available elsewhere, and I am pleased with them. |

I say post 'em if you got 'em. If you come in here expecting NOT to see results, then you might be upset when you do. I was really disappointed to see Marquez dump it, but hey... it happens. It was a hell of a shoot out and I'm equally happy to see Rossi take the win as I would have been to see Marquez get it. What I REALLY wanted to see was both riders crossing the finish line, in whatever configuration. |

I just LOVE reading the post-race interview with Danilo Petrucci. If you haven't seen it yet, you should: http://www.crash.net/motogp/news/222501/1/petrucci -beats-stars-in-18th-to-2nd-charge.html |

Petrucci was absolutely tickled pink with his results. Good to see three Italian friends up on the podium together, all very good sports. |

Wow where did Petrucci come from....lol. And on last years Primac duc. Good for him. I missed the last 8 laps due to the delay taking up most of the scheduled time. Damn TiVo shut off. |

Yeah, I had the same problem with my FiOS DVR. I've set it now to record an extra half hour after the scheduled end "just in case" for the rest of the season. |

No way Marquez could stay on 2 wheels for the full race distance in the wet and as smooth as Lorenzo is, one would think he would be perfect for this type of race. As impressive as these guys are, I think their pace in wet conditions is absolutely mind-boggling. And to think Nas-crap won't even run in the wet. What a joke. |
