@Corywest13: Purchased my ticket to London for the end of the month. I'll be racing British Superstock at Oulton Park on the @Splitlath #EBR #1190RS 😎🇺🇸 |

Good move, and at least it is in the right class this time! The UK Superstock class is pretty strong and dominated by Kawasaki & BMW at the moment, so it will be interesting to see how he goes in his debut at Oulton park, which can be a scary track for newcomers. |

Awesome, is the bike the rx or rs? |

It has to be the RX to be eligible for UK Superstock (although i don't think any have been sold here yet?). The bike has to be available for UK retail sales to be eleigible for this series, and the Rs never was. |

Looking at Cory's twitter post it appears he will be riding for Splitlath Motorsports. They are who fielded 2 1190 RS's in the Isle of Mann TT. Cory also indicated 1190RS but that may be incorrect. I was aware that this was in the works for a few months, but haven't talked to Cory about it lately. |

which can be a scary track for newcomers. Yep my old boss many years ago, thought he was the bees knees, stuffed his big valve Lotus Elan Sprint into the barrier last corner first lap. Made a proper mess to the Lotus - and his pride. Oulton's a proper track. TVR's home circuit and test track once upon a time. Hope the EBR shows well. Would be a very good feather in a British cap for Erik and EBR. Rocket in England |

Best of luck to Cory. He's a talented rider and an incredible Ambassador for EBR. I'm very proud to see him representing EBR and the USA. Court |

Cory is in England now and will start testing Monday. He will test at Thruxton and Oulton Park as well as racing at Oulton next weekend. I am not sure what track he is testing on Monday. Tony, his crew chief, is also there. He will return two more times for races this year. |

I read that they cracked down on alleged 'cheating' at BSB Superstck this weekend, and investigated every Kawasaki ZX10 ECU. They have employed a miltary electronics guy to 'interrogate' the ECU. If it ain't completely stock (i.e. no flashing allowed) then they are out. Nobody was found to be cheating so the allegations appear to be just sour grapes. However I hope Splitlath remember to swap out the Superbike ECU before Cory races in Superstock next week! |

I don't know what ECU Cory will be using, but it is my understanding he will be on a different RS than the ones used in the Isle of Mann. |

I would hope so, as I don't think that the RS was ever homologated as a stock bike here, so wouldn't be eligible for BSB Superstock racing. I would think he will have to race a pretty standard RX (with race bodywork of course). Even the noise limits are less here so he may have to run the 'quiet' pipe as well. |

I guess some of my info was incorrect. It appears he tested at Donnington today. |

on the Erik Buell Racing EBR 1190RS I would be extremely surprised if it is actually an RS, as that was never homologated for racing in the uK. If another team make a complaint it could be thrown out (although that would probably only happen if they won probably). I think it will be an RX unless they haven't told the organisers exactly what it is or have been given some sort of dispensation to race an RS. I would find that hard to beleive as it would open the gates to all sorts of non homologated models to race in Superstock. BSB Superstock races are much shorter than WSB races so the extra fuel tank wouldn't be necessary. I quite like that Akra exhaust actually. Definitely nicer than the stock 'resonator' thingy. |

I wish they would start selling the race parts to the public: The exhaust hanger, and race plastics and screen would be a great start even if the ECU and other bits aren't ready yet! |
