Making their mark at Miller, May and Yates, West and Dominguez put on quite a show. Geoff May, EBR/Team Hero 1190RS pilot sporting some new electronics managed a 9th place on Saturday with the initial setup and then took a 5th place Sunday in even warmer conditions. Aaron Yates EBR/Team Amsoil/Hero rider put in a tough race for Twelth on Saturday, but improved all the way to 6th on Sunday. Quite a spectacular job for the two Factory EBR riders. Dustin Dominguez of the Motosport.com EBR/RSR Team took a 14th place in a tough race on Saturday and improved to tenth on Sunday. Cory West on the Motosport.com/EBR II RSR machine had a DNF on Saturday with his EBR coming to a stop at turn one of lap one, but with a finishing spot of 17th on Sunday with possible overheat issues. Cory seemed to be the one with the bad luck at this race and Dustin seemed to find his game and do well here. There was also a team campaigning 1125R 's in Supersport, comprised of a Father/Son team attempting to accomplish a "Bucket list" goal of both riders riding TOGETHER in the same AMA Pro Road Race. Very,Very Cool stuff here!Unfortunately the Senior Crump(Chris)had a get off in Qualifying One and didn't succeed in making the Grid.I certainly hope that these two fine gentlemen make another attempt and that I'm there to record it.Something for the record books for sure!
