Sunday Race 2 Results Geoff ended up pretty much alone in his race today,finishing fifth however Aaron was having quite a battle with one of the KTMs(#44 Taylor Knapp,a former Buell Racer)and was placed sixth at the line.Hot and windy conditions hampered the bikes and riders and caused a few casualties. Josh Hayes,present Superbike Champion had an incident and gave up the first position to Herrin,Cardenas and Hayden which created quite a battle for the lead. Hayden was at the front in the final lap and would have taken it when his bike gave out at the last corner ,gliding across the line for second with Martin Cardenas standing at the top of the Podium. I don't think Hayden would have taken Cardenas, though he was certainly throwing everything he had at the pass. | ||
