CBS just might do great coverage.... we shall see. Now that I know where for sure it will be televised. I can now shop for better prices. Time Warner is just tooooo damn expensive. I'm keeping Road Runner but cable has got to be sent packing | ||

I hope the commentators get some training on how to pronounce the riders last names. the red recks from Speed, totally keep mispronouncing Cardenaz , they keep prouncing it as Cardeenas. | ||

So it was announced yesterday that AMA Supersport grids are at their lowest for years, with just 21 riders confirmed for the next round.....followed today by the announement that M1 Powersports will not promote any rounds this year..leading to a 2013 AMA Superbike series of just 9 rounds in total (two of which are supporting races for GP/WSb so not a full roster of AMA races). How long will sponsors and manufacturers/importers/dealers hang around when there is so little exposure for their brands? M1 Powersports say they are concentrating on getting national TV coverage ready for 2014, but that sounds like rearranging the deckchairs on the Titanic to me. Why have a national TV deal if there is nobody left to televise? Sad situation  | ||

I'm not going to say that the AMA and motorcycle racing in general don't have issues, but the Supersport Grid doesn't seem like the best measurement. The Superbike grid is stronger than it's been in years, and while Hayes still has to be the favorite, his bad luck has left things wide open. With live HD coverage now the fan experience, for those who care, should be better than ever. The trick is getting enough people to care and that's a problem for racing at all levels. | ||

AMA Pro Roadracing returns this weekend on CBS Sports Network. On FiOS, that is channel 94. They seem to be the "Anti-beIN" network in that beIN only has an HD channel, and CBS Sports Network only has an SD channel (at least on FiOS). I've gotten so spoiled at watching the races in HD on my 65" TV that this might be a bit of a let down... We'll see! | ||

You are lucky you even have it. Unlike Speed, that channel is only on a pretty high tier locally. Frustrating, I was trying to raise my kids to be fans, and now we can't watch it. | ||

Direct TV chanel 613 MC racing starts. Pre race at 2:30 PM EST Sportbike 3:00 to 4:00 Superbike 4:00 to 5:00 on sat. Sun starts at 3:00 PM Don't have to stay up to 1:00 AM any more  + its on at least 3 more times next week if you miss it on sat. and sun.  that sounds a lot better than Speed | ||

Not sure what you mean by posted on the AMA web page, but pretty much anything you want to know about the races can be found there, event schedule, live timing, results and even the ability to replay the race video streamed to your computer. Also info on what channel you can find CBS Sports on. http://amaproracing.com/ |
