The main page is located here, as a subset of the AMA Pro Racing area.... http://www.amaprolive.com/live/archives/rr/2014/ Then as Reepicheap posted... http://www.amaprolive.com/xml/RR/events/R1430/SBF1 MANUFACTURERPOINTSPOSITION.pdf There are various ways to arrange the text and make a wallet copy or just plug the site to your phone favorites. Of course the site might be pulled at some time. A jpg picture is best. Big copies of it should be in the EBR showrooms and calendar cards for hand outs. |

With MotoAmerica adding a 1000 superstock class I can see the EBR with a talented rider competing for a championship. Superbike rules simply are beyond the scope of long stroke vtwins to run with the 4s on topend power. |

Wow... no Daytona 200 next year in 2015. I have to wonder if Bikeweek will even notice. I had a feeling DMG was not going to play well with the new owners of the playground. |

It is a sad thing though given the history and traditions. Motorcycle racing will be poorer for it, but it looks like the circuit will go on and thrive. |

Yes it is sad. Last year you could have evacuated all the fans on a single school bus. For all its historical significance, DMG simply isn't interested in promoting successful American road racing or making any of the sacrifices that takes. |

Rumor is there will be a non-AMA/KRAVE race. |

That was me. They only gave him a 1 year deal last year so I'm glad they're bringing him back for 2015. |

Ummm Moto America runs it and yes its called that but AMA still has its presence as they did when DMG had it. Did DMG sell it to Moto America or did it get basically taken from DMG for the reasons of killing the sport?? Check the facts!!! regardless both threads were started by me makes no difference. Further proof that DMG was sole reason behind the decline we saw. CBSS telecast lawnmower racing, yet they couldn't come to an agreement after signing a multi year deal?!?!? Still its good news! |

I saw this on facebook this morning. Finally, roadracing is back on tv. I never understood how tractor pulls made the cut but never motorcycles. Things are looking good. I bet in Europe, if you stopped televising motorcycle races for tractor pulls, there would be a riot. |

Isn't CBS Sports Network the same cable-only channel that some AMA races (or maybe it was WSBK) races were televised on? If so, my cable provider doesn't carry it. The next big question is what are EBR's plans for Moto America? |

WSBK was/is on beIN. Two years ago the AMA races were on CBS Sports. Unlike Fox Sports or beIN, I could only get that channel in standard (not high) definition. That was a bummer. Hopefully it will get better. |

Having the races on TV in standard Def. is better than no coverage. Give them time to build the series. And TV in standard Def. is better that the coverage on Fans Choice. I watched a lot of the Dirt Track series this past summer. The cameraman focused on the leader only, and all the action was happening behind him. I honestly think that DMG was trying to kill motorcycle racing in this country. I don't see how an organization that turned NASCAR into a major sporting event could do so much damage to our sport unless it was intentional. |

Crusty I wish I could disagree with you but I can't. I think the only thing they (DMG) cared about as far as motorcycle racing was the races at their own tracks. We will see what they do with the rest of the series now that they don't have roadracing. |

If he knows anything he isn't talking. Hopefully now that there is a TV package it will help with sponsorships and they can put something together. As always it is all about money. |

I think the only thing they (DMG) cared about as far as motorcycle racing was the races at their own tracks. We will see what they do with the rest of the series now that they don't have roadracing. I have always maintained that it was a conflict of interest for DMG. The same dollars, sponsors, eyes, ratings and buts in seats were being courted on the same weekends for NASCAR and AMA Pro. It cost way less to sponsor a Roadrace team than a NASCAR team, but the nature of NASCAR means your rolling bill board is out there longer due race length, may be seen even if not close to the front and is easily distinguished from others no matter where on track. So they get more bang for there advert buck. |

I hope to see Kawasaki and Honda come back along with maybe Aprilia making a appearance in our series at some time. What we aren't hearing is what rider are getting signed. Eslick is going back to 600 as is Herrin and that seems funny as they both should be pulling Superbike duty. Hayden signed a 2 year deal with Yosh.... but hes the only rider at this point. Cardenas just signed World Super Sport deal in FIM.I just wish we'd start hearing whats making up the Superbike grid this year?? |
