What I like is the rig they are hauling everything to the races with.... about 1/8 of what the big $$ boys have and still placing in the top 10 not a knock... but just a fact.. I've seen nicer haulers at the club racing level... to be racing at that level on a shoe string budget... awesome! |

>>>about 1/8 of what the big $$ boys have and still placing in the top 10 I see you've never bought a tractor-trailer.

One real positive I've got to toss into the mix . . . and Erik Buell Racing is part of this but not entirely responsible . . is that I am REALLY enjoying seeing Erik Buell Racing, KTM and BMW in the mix. We'll have tons of fun bating, debating, rebating and simulbating the relative who has what funding, who's doing what and so forth . . . but the presence of some new blood, at least for me, is really making racing fun again. I was really sorry to see Fillmore crash in practice as I was less looking forward to Geoff being on the podium than I was the mixing it up with the KTM. This is starting to get fun! |

Better . . . Jarheads and estimating . . . remind me to tell you the story of Staff Sergeant Patrick Fox preparing to deploy to Viet Nam. |

At least at mid ohio you could find the Erik Buell Racing pit by either looking for the smallest transporter, or the biggest crowds. |

I see the race bike is using a conventional rear wheel. Any scoop on this? The road bike rear wheel is pure sex. |

I confess that I walked right by the bike and pop-up the first time through! Very Understated & Minimalist... |

>>>>Very Understated & Minimalist... Not unlike your own self Chauly (I call him Chuck) . . .most folks here don't even know who you are . . Erik mentioned that he saw you before heading off to the airport. You do . . don't forget our phone call the other day . . owe me an "insiders race report". Deliver or I'll spill the beans. . . . and, er. . .FRANKS.

Just watched the race on Speed (DVR'ed from last night). Pretty decent coverage of Erik Buell Racing's effort at around lap 6 with maybe 20 or 30 seconds of on-screen time of Geoff. The announcers mentioned how glad they were to see Erik seriously competing in American Super Bike. |

Wanted to say thanks to all the guys at the race. Ann and I had a really great time and plan on coming back next year, One thing I would like to add is that the sound of the 1190 is awesome, It has a very deep crisp note. Thanks again guys, Go Erik Buell Racing!!!!! |

Was forced to watch the lame race recap on the Speed web site. It's only lame because I want to see all the coverage, not just the summary. Anyhoo, MAN did Eslick make a mad pass on the last lap of the sportbike race. He may not be on a Buell, but dang he sure is fun to watch. |
