The shirt really is OFF THE CHARTS cool . . . . more than anything, to me, it epitomizes the message that Geoff sent to the racing world this last season. To me, after 20+ years of being involved with Buell, there is lots more to racing than finishing position. (FOR THE RECORD - Erik may vehemently disagree) Geoff, in every race, exuded absolute class and professionalism. I met Geoff for the first time while he was filming the History Channel special (the day it snowed while he was lapping Monticello) and was impressed. The thing that put him in my all time Buell Winner's Circle were the reports I got from race tracks around the USA of how darned accessible, cordial and gracious he was to fans. Nothing does so much to promote motorcycles, racing and Buell. When I heard about how Geoff went out of his way to take time to spend with young Jack K at Mid-Ohio . . . well, regardless of finish he's a WINNER in my book. I can't wait for next year ! Court   Yep . . . that's SNOW ! . . . it was sunny as could be with a few big billowing clouds . . . all of a sudden a cloud passed over and it snowed like the dickens for about 3 minutes and the sun came right back out . . .    | ||

Cool photos Court! I've got, I believe, every Erik Buell Racing shirt that has been offered, but the funny thing is the #99 shirt is the only one I have that has an actual motorcycle on it. Great shirt. If you haven't bought it yet, it's definitely worth the price. We should do everything we can to keep Geoff on a an Erik Buell Racing. A rider with Geoff's combination of talent and class would be difficult . . . if not impossible to replace. | ||

Speaking of which, I need to order one of those shirts for said young Jack... It'll make a great Christmas gift. I think Geoff did exactly what was necessary this year, and it was really a hard thing to do. Work around the development issues, put in solid lap after solid lap after solid lap, do the impossible about one time a week when it is all about to go sideways but can't, and put the bike across the finish line track after track. | ||
