Looking for some help, I just installed the MSD programmable shift light with 4 rpm settings. The thing works ok at lower rpm but will not light at higher rpms, above 8,000. Anyone else have this shift light with this problem? MSD wants me to send it back at my cost to "calibrate" it. At this time I'm not too impressed with it and if some of you guys have had problems with them then I think I will just return it. The package had already been opened so it may have been returned once before. What shift lights work properly with the 1125 engine? Are any of them waterproof? What works for you? Thanks (Message edited by chevycummins on September 11, 2010) |

I'm running the msd shift light on my 1125r race bike with no problems. Do you have shift light setting on 1 cylinder or 2? Its needs to be set on one cylinder. |

I'm running the Dynatek shift light with shift minder. I went with this shift light due to the ability to expand the components. The shift minder also runs my air shifter.

Yup, its on 1 cyl, just my luck to get the defective one. I guess I'll give it another try with a new one since its worked for some of you guys. Thanks. |
