I have an extra general admission ticket to the Indy GP this weekend. The ticket includes a lap of the track, a gift voucher, and 10% off coupon for the gift shop. It cost me $55. Let me know if you know of anyone interested. |

On Friday and Saturday, Aug. 27 & 28, Motorcycles on Meridian will turn Meridian Street into a parking area exclusively for motorcycles as part of the activities for the Red Bull Indianapolis GP. Motorcycles will be parked in curb lanes and in the center of the street. The following streets will be closed from 6 p.m. - 3 a.m. Friday and from 3 p.m. - 3 a.m. Saturday:
Meridian Street between Ohio and South streets, including Monument Circle; Cars will have access into Union Station parking garage via South Street.
Motorcycles using the street for parking will enter Meridian Street via South Street, Monument Circle or Washington Street.
Georgia Street at Meridian Street; access to and from the Moon Garage at Circle Centre mall on West Georgia Street will be available via Illinois Street.
Jackson Street between Meridian and McCrea streets
McCrea Street between Jackson and Louisiana streets
Louisiana Street between McCrea and Meridian streets
Maryland Street at Meridian Street may be closed for public safety at the discretion of IMPD

On Friday and Saturday, Aug. 27 & 28, the XDL Sportbike Freestyle Championship will take place on North Street as part of the activities for the Red Bull Indianapolis GP. North Street between Meridian and Pennsylvania streets will be closed to all traffic Thursday-Saturday for this event. |

It looks like my old man and a buddy may meet me in indy and get some general adm. tickets.
We should try to hook up, I will be there sat. Afer a long drive from GA. Hopefully camping in the MC lot but I have to trailer the bike since my 3 year old is with me.
Tim, Got the tix, could not get ahold of the switch but Shred has you covered!! He will bring the switch to summit point with ya!

Ok, we are heading down Friday. Probably get there around 8pm.
I see the tickets are sold out so we will look around for some, if not we will just hang out downtown and watch from a bar or something! |

Had it last year. We didn't want to have to wait that long (we were STARVING) so I had the steak sandwich instead. Washed it down with a Newcastle Brown Ale.
We'll be on Meridian tonight for the XDL show. I'll be wearing my Buell racing shirt! |

Sorry I missed you Jaime. Attended an Aprilia gathering later than I planned and didn't get down until after 10 or so. Talked to a few Buellers, a couple from Badweb, one from in town that frequents here. Going to the Mile tonight and then downtown. I'll look for Buell attire. |

Good talking to you on Friday Noone. I'm pretty sure we saw you on 16th on the way headed out. You guys ducked off a sidestreet and we couldn't change lanes that fast.
I saw another guy on 16th with a gorgeous 2008 1125R that shouted "Nice Bike" at me. Ok, his looked just like mine. I'm really not used to seeing Buells everywhere, though.
I tried walking the stands about where I thought Jaime would be but came up empty. We'll have to hook up next year.
This was by far the most satisfying year from an buell owner aspect. I was asked about my bike at the Ducati event, at an Aprilia gathering, on Meridian, at the Mile, and at the Speedway. It was not to see or hear about a number of Buells, though I didn't see much from the tuber family. I did hear about an S1 from Noone rode in from Montana!!?? Kudos!
I'm already looking forward to next year. |

I was a super proud Buell owner. I don't know if it was because of the drop in sale price, but there were WAY more buells there this year than last year. I loved it! |
