The motor is stock, no clutch work, no internal mods. The only mods are the Erik Buell Racing full race exhaust, Erik Buell Racing race ecm and Erik Buell Racing Tune!! Custom ram air, air shifter, efrracing.com swing arm and geared for the dragstrip. |

Very nice, Mike. What were your times with stock wheelbase? I'm just starting out, and looking for goals to shoot for. My 60's are terrible since I have very little seat time. |

My best times time on the stock wheel base was a 10.38 with a 1.69 60' I think I could of done better but had to get my bike ready for the new arm. |

How much do you weigh? |

bout 180 full gear. strapped, all preload out of rear. quick squat, slow rebound. only 3 passes with strap, so Im not sure how much harder i can leave with this setup. I know I am on the clutch WAY too long... |

I weigh 200 pounds geared. 5000 rpm seemed to be the sweet spot for the launch when the wheelbase was stock. You definitely have to ride the clutch the bike always want to come up but you just need to practice. |

so, i should still be sliding the clutch, but wick it up some at the light? Also, running a Pingel electric, hitting it at 9000 after the 1-2. making in the 130's trap speed but averaging low 11s with mid 2s in the 60. Sounds like I gotta man up and launch it... |

I will find my time slips so i can give you exact numbers. Bott its all in your 60" that is your main goal. Without a good 60" your not going to run the times youd like. |

When staging hold the rpms at 5000 then when the light turns green dont dump the clutch roll it out as you go wide open throttle. You need to control the power with the clutch so you dont wheelie out the gate. You should be shifting at 10,500 through the gears. (Message edited by mike1125r on May 22, 2010) |

I had an electric shift on my v rod I didn't like the response time during the shift. The air shifter hits with a lot more force, bangs it in gear you'll never miss a shift and it shifts faster. |

I run an electric because i have no feeling or ability to move my left ankle and foot. I wear an orthotic brace from calf to toes which keeps my foot from dropping any more than 90 degrees. If not for that I would NOT use this shifter-it's heavy, bulky, and a bitch to mount on the 1125. On the plus side, its a Pingel,bullet-proof and never misses. Have the kill time at the lowest setting (40 ms) and I do all my up and downshifts with it. |

Nice! You are one hell of a pilot Mike...WOW on those 60s. The vast majority of Badwebbers have no clue how hard it is to get numbers like that. Awesome riding. |
