So far"> this year has shown it's transitional nature in both rider changes and winning makes. For me,it's been exciting and most unlike the recent past. With 3 Buell Teams at Laguna, we were excited to hang with them! One of our members and long time friends ,Andy Tuttle(Cowboytutt from Ukiah) assisted the McFarland Team as first time Pit Crew. We'll expect him to pipe in somewhere along the way.So lets get arollin'.......
Shawn Flyin' down the Corkscrew
Geoff at the top of the 'Screw
and Chase'n in the basin of the 'Screw
Our three Buellers...Shawn,Geoff and Chase
SCAB (Southern California Area Buellers) make Camp overlooking the corkscrew. The new addition in front of camp is the "LightShack" of American Sport Bike.
Roi , sponsored by our friends at J,T&S,Fireman Jim and Terry Parsley and an all around cool Fast Guy.
And another great guy ,and friend, George Latus in a crowd watching........
.....the first American Unveiling of a Ducati, the new 848...Represented by the Ducati riders here.
The Loveshack, from across the valley. Al, Zach and Joanne Lighton are in attendance with the new "LightShack" off to the right.
The new Timing Tower is FANTASTIC! It has a three sided giant screen display with a giant rotating Mazda symbol on top but only shows 9 places with 10th as a scroll. We figured they had to do this to keep the viewing angle proper.Great Upgrade...THANKS SCRAMP ,GIL and your entire crew continue to get our Accolades!
Chase and Geoff talking "Buellsky"
This is Ben Bostrum kickin' ass in the Superbike Race.
And more kickin' , this time on Josh Hayes.
And this is our freind , Verna (Bostrum) with the "Wooster" celebrating her son Ben's win.
Another shot of Ben , leading Tommy Hayden this time.
Go say Hi to Nicky!
Jake Zemke leading Larry Pegram on the Ducati.
Shot from the street of the start of the MotoGP race.
The Loveshacks "Veranda".
Some of the fog rolling in towards Fox Hill.
Roi has an EXCELLENT new Sponsor!(Thats RACETECH in case you didn't notice!)
Another nice end......
And yes , The Final End. |

It was a real special honor to be able to join the McFarland Team as a crew member and I'm working on a write-up about it. Chase is a friend of mine up here in NorCal, sort of "local boy done good". I liked him from the very first time I met him and his Dad, Crew Chief Dan, and home mechanic Steve Burns are also really first rate individuals whose company I really enjoy. I'm really glad to to know them. I've also spent some time with Sean Higby last year and this year at Laguna Seca and just wanted to also say what a humble and talented guy he is too. We are blessed to have some really good guys in the Buell camp this year and I hope they can all remain Buellers. -Tutt |
