A little help, but it won't make much difference. The four cylinder bikes are still 370, and the 1125RR is clearly down on power against the bikes it is running with. With the power disadvantage it would probably need to have a weight advantage to make up for it. Maybe if they put the Buell at 350 it would matter. |

If Ducati can bring a 1098 and be competitive, surely Buell can make the 1125 competitive? |

A 1098R is actually 1198cc that is what Pegram's Ducati is. |

I talked with Geoff at the track about the extra weight but didn't know then that it was getting lowered. Geoff said even with the weight and the lack of power he thought they could run 6 or 7th so shave 10 pounds and we might see a top 5. Now Pegram with that Duc should be right at the front with the weight savings. |
