Nice job! He must have had a problem towards the beginning but recovered for a solid finish and showed he's certainly capable of running with the top 10 even at this very early development point. Here's hoping for a an incident-free race tomorrow to cap a solid opening weekend. |

Well, he did drop fast. There were a few bikes that went out... It was good showing though.. On a side note....Go Danny Eslick! |

I don't believe the RR and Geoff have been properly acquainted yet. There's more seat time and development needed to get on a pace the bike and the rider are capable of. I noticed in second qualifying the bike pitted several times and became incrementally better after each pit stop. In the race, the best lap was the 7th and lap times were inconsistent. He was about to to pass Taylor Knapp when something happened to cause the lap time to jump 8 seconds. After that mishap, he was back on the 1.39 pace again. All of that adds up to "under development" to me; meaning there are exciting times ahead for us. I am so excited about Elena Myers taking her first win. That was truly a historic moment and could not have happened to a nicer person. Go Elena!! The Daytona Sportbike class continues to be fantastic. Dicing and mixing it up on every lap. Exactly what the fans want to see. |

Asbjorn(Doerman), I completely agree with all said. Did Erik Buell Racing debut the 1190RR there? They'er coming to Millers on Memorial day for the F1M superbike races and will be running the 1190RR in our local GTO race against many superbikes. Can't wait and I'll try and get some pictures. Myself and some Utah Buellers will be trackside. Should be great. |

Suberbike warm-up just finished. Geoff was 9th. Placement in warm-up does not matter much. Warm-up is used to improve the bike. As such, Geoff and the EB-Racing team has made great strides since yesterday. - Improved lap time by approximately 1 second - Stayed out for the first 2/3 of the warm-up session continuously improving lap time. They've found improvements from yesterday and Geoff and the bike is is gelling! I'm seeing a top 10 today! Exciting stuff!!!! |
