That is the Buell Racing number plate for the firebolts. It just covers the stock faring. |

I bought the number plate from Buell Racing along with the belly pan and race exhaust. Fits like a glove! The WOODCRAFT rearsets are real nice too. You guys need to check them out. They won't fold up like the stock ones and thus will act like frame sliders protecting shifter, brake pedal, and other vital parts. Not to mention, WOODCRAFT has the best customer service in the business! |

And Woodcraft dosn't make any for the 1125. Grrr. Oh, and the bodywork set I got is from Catalyst Racing Composites, full fairing setup. They also have XB race uppers to replace the plastic. |

Woodcraft had some in development. I'll email Eric to see what the progress is. |

99buellx1, I just got a reply from Eric, and I told him that you have the stock swingarm and belt drive. There may be a set available. I'll give you more info when he gets back to me. |

Sweet. Thanks man! All I saw was this: "2009 Buell 1125 - Rearsets in R&D....looking for customer feedback" I would be willing to do some testing and give some feedback for them. |

I saw a thread on the WERA board awhile back on which someone was trying to round-up, I believe 25 people, who would be willing to purchase a set for the 1125. Woodcraft needed at least that many to make it worth while for a production run. |

I am collecting information to give to Eric Wood. Anyone interested and willing to buy the rear sets for the 1125R PM me by Friday at 2pm EST. Let me know if you have the stock swingarm and belt drive. |

i hacked off the stock peg mounts, bought 2 round bolt on pegs, fabricated a spacer for the square recesses, drilled a mounting hole up and back and voila-off to the races. stolen from Coolice's setup on the James Gang bike. tim |

those woodcrafts will no doubt be stronger than the stock peg mounts. but i do admire the diy approach. edit: erik, pm nate neville. or have tripp call him. and while he's at it, have him shoot me a price on that # plate. (Message edited by chippy on January 07, 2010) |

Smoke, very crafty..... But there's no doubt the Woodcrafts lower bracket would be WAY more durable. I was very impressed when I received mine. I'll try to get a close up picture of them later today and post it. The lower brackets are cut out of 1/2" aluminum. Very stout! I did feel the left footpeg was a little short as for it is tucked in behind the engine case. Shot Eric an email and I had a new longer footpeg at my house in about 3 days, no charge. It's hard to find that kind of customer service anymore. |

Kill two birds with one stone and quit messing with the belt and buy my chaindrive conversion which comes with awesome rearsets that are ridged mounted and act as sliders when you go down. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi ewItem&item=220537072445&viewitem=&sspagename=STRK %3AMESELX%3AIT#ht_500wt_999 |

Just got my set. Now to mock them up, drill some holes, make some brackets, then off to paint. |

That is the Catalyst Racing Composites SuperSport lower. You can check their site for a local dealer, I purchased my set from www.lithiummotorsports.net (have to call, not on the site) They did what I felt was a good price, and the guys there are top notch. |

Painted white, it's much glossier and better looking in person, but still needs some finish........but I have something in the works for that. Took off the not needed stuff, it's just about ready to go.
