It's a mis print, Shawn did get a top 10 time in practice, Superbike practice, on his Ducati. The AMA Live timing board had him listed on the 1125 in sbk and the Yam r6 in DSB. Never believe everything you read, check your sources, read twitter, RRW, till all the facts are in. |

Kudos to Latus for switching to Ducati with the demise of Buell Motorcycles. I love seeing a V-twin, with less of a "displacement advantage", in second on the starting grid. A part of me may just root for Team Latus just for that reason. |

it sucks to see corey west and taylor knapp not being succesful on the gixxers. those 2 fellows did so great last year on the Buells. some guys are better in v engines. like the ultimate racer Casey Stoner |

Not like Casey Stoner - Stoner is running the MotoGP GP-10 Ducati, not a twin. |

Second you have no idea what your talking about. Knapp was the best finishing privateer in SB like year and that was aboard a GSXR 1000. As far as I'm concerned him being able to get a leg over two entirely different bikes. And two entirely different classes. Then finish so well on both bike against factory backed teams being mostly his own Mechanic. Is to me a very very talented rider. Believe what you will but I don't think Team Yosh makes mistakes on there riders. (Message edited by bads1 on March 04, 2010) |

Good for Shawn. Anyone know what the purse ended up being for SB? It was changing the last time I looked. Shawn needs to make some money! |

He didn't say "twin". |

Not to defend Buell2001b's comments, but he never said Stoner rode a "Twin", he said "V". That said, Stoner doesn't ride a "V" either. He rides a "L". Looks like Blake beat me to that comment. I type slow. Guess I need to type faster or hit the refresh button more. Sorry. (Message edited by dentguy on March 04, 2010) |
