Eslick was only second fastest because he has a 60% displacement advantage. Oh wait... |

OK i am just thinking here. Corey West finished I think in 9th and Eslick in 2nd. Corey got a top 5 in AMA! Imagine, if Danny rode the 1125RR last season. He could have spanked Mladin and won the race to this logic |

Too bad the 1125RR wasn't around until mid season, and then only ran a couple of races. I think that the RR would have been competitive is ASBK especially running on the non-600 spec tire like the 1125R had to run on in DSB. |

Hope that this shuts up the haters. It not only shows that Danny is a great rider, it also shows that the Buell 1125r EARNED it's championship last year. |

>>>Keith Wandell, you are an idiot. That is an accurate statement. Imagine the "younger" (remember that group that HD is going after with their trikes and presence in India) group's elevated interest with Danny Eslick winning the Daytona 200 on a Buell. Idiot . . semantically. . . falls short. Good thing Suzuki put the bounty out there and got all those Buell riders or Wandell & Co. would look even worse yet. |

Or imagine the older Harley riders, growing tired of the T-Shirt and Chrome lifestyle schtick, getting excited about Buell and then finding out about the Ulysses. Maybe the HD execs were actually smart enough to see that coming. Too bad they weren't smart enough to see over the next hill after that one, and realize that their cheese was about to be moved with or without Buell moving it, and that killing the brand may have bought them two years on the short term, but lost them their best hope for the next 50 years after that... Anyway, great job Danny! An amazingly talented rider.... and Harley had him, on a world class platform... and took the "safe" route. Sigh. |

to follow along that same thread, I was listening to NPR and via some economic guru was stating that the biggest changes in market share occur during periods of recession... He does "look" better on a Buell, but regardless good luck Danny and RMR as well as the rest of the gang. Have fun! |

I still am a HUGE Slick fan. No matter what HD has done, they can't erase that magical season last year. and I LOVE the fact that all the Danny naysayers have egg all over their face. Yeah, it's was the bike! Hilarious. |

I said it before, all this has shown is that not only did Danny earn the championship, but so did the Buell. Or mayby Danny just has some extra CCs hidden on the bike somewhere. |

Gotta give Danny props for his riding skills. We'll be watching tonight. JUST for sentimental reasons, I'd like to see a Buell take it home - but we ALL got excited when Danny got all of us "OUR" championsip last year. Hope it goes well for Danny and RMR racing. |
