High Country H-D/Buell will be at Fan Fest on Tejon St Friday nite, 17July and mounting two Buells with racers in their first Pikes Peak International Hillclimb next Sunday, 19July.
We hope to see some fans down there. If interested in staying the nite before camping, contact me.
If there is any doubt that Buell's ECM adapts well to altitude these times should put that to rest even if they are not exactly stock for these bikes. Good job guys. My experience exactly on my 1125R. Bob T., high in the Rocky mountains of Utah.
Before being sho-ed away by Mountain police due to fans at lower sections being on the course when cars went through, I was positioned for a great shot of our bikes with appropriate signage on the mountain.
Cool pics Dave! I was hiking up to engineers corner, and almost there, when the Buells came flying by and caught me by surprise. I missed getting any pics of them! ARGH.
I was hoping to maybe learn from Dalton his thoughts about the race and the bike. He obviously had a good lead most of the way but Greg Tracy found an opportunity to get by. How did the bike perform? What sections of the track were easy/difficult?
One of the best car videos of the peak race. The guy can drive like no other! He is coming next year to race in the open class and plans on getting the record back in the familys name. Rhys rules!
Being the official photographer for the race...thanks for displaying some of my photos via Artemis images...I am gonna post some larger pics from my site for my fellow Buell riders to copy if they like....hopefully some shots will be picked up for Fuell this year too!
DAMMIT !!! I was supposed to be camping in 11 Mile State Park from today at noon 'till Monday at eleven !!! I really hate when stupid little details like work and family issues get in the way of my life. Next year for sure Jammin'...
