Are the bell shaped axle sliders you see on some racers (i.e. the Geico bikes) better than the round delrins? Where do you get them from?

I think that they are quick tool locaters. They allow an impact wrench to quickly locate the axle to speed up wheel changes. They are pretty useless as a slider.

they are just handles...we use them as well
