This should frustrate the hell out of you... and make you proud: In Heavyweight Twins, Darren James showed that the Deeley Harley Davidson/Buell XB9R is still a potent weapon on the track building up a 15 second lead in race 1 before having to settle for second place when the shift linkage broke allowing the Mainland Hard Chrome Ducati 1098S of James Nadolny to take the win. James set off on a sizzling pace in race 2 again building up a sizable lead over Nadolny only to have to retire after overheating problems caused by the restrictive stock exhaust forced James to pull his 2007 Canadian Thunder championship winning bike off course giving the win to Nadolny. This is an excerpt from roadracingworld.com about the opening round of a a new Canadian series- WCC (Western Canadian Championship). It's great to know that the XB9R has to break in order for the 1098S to win... frustrating, but awesome. read the entire article here: http://roadracingworld.com/news/article/?article=3 6620 |
