I thought it was the Superbike race only tonight? I think they are spreading the races over the next 4 weekends. |

I thought for the Fontana coverage, they showed Superbike the first hour and Sportbike the second hour. Both Race #1 this week and Race #2 next week. |

It's based on the spread between the races. Since there are 4 weeks between Road Atlanta and Barber, they've spread them out. They're trying to show at least something every Saturday. Look at it this way: Shawn Higbee will be back for Barber . . . and Walt Sipp is entered for Superbike at Barber as well, so in a few more weeks, we should be able to look forward to seeing Buells racing every Saturday night for the rest of the season. If the coverage was live, we'd only be able to see racing every 2 - 3 weeks tops during the actual race weekends - and then you could only count on Speed showing selected races. realistically, based on what Speed has done in the past, if not for "AMA Primetime" we'd be getting roughly one Superbike race per month. Forget about Sportbike (Formula X-Treme) and we really only got Superbike if Speed couldn't find anything else to air. (Message edited by elvis on April 11, 2009) |

The way they're televising the races is so bad. I can't even remember to watch the races anymore, let alone what race is being shown. |

I was fortunate enough to rememeber the Atlanta race that happened last weekend was on TV this weekend. Then found out sportbike will be next weekend (when I am at the track with my own races). I seriously hope the AMA and the Nascar Channel can get a better agreement for next year.... The lack of TV support is not good for an otherwise exciting year of motorcycle road racing!!!! How many Barret-Jackson auctions can they rerun??? |

I dont get the speed coverage either. Ever since Daytona the coverage has been horrible. But I guess its better than nothing. It just makes me mad that the race happens and we see it next week or two weeks later. Would love to see them do that with a Nascar race and see what happens then. Guess the rednecks spend enough money that they can run Nascar 24/7 and make money. |

Speed is treating the AMA/DMG races as more of a television show than a professional racing series. Too bad. |
