Rmr, I was the one who started the thread about team gear like shirts and hats.

Are we going to see a Geico Power Sports commercial with Slick and Barney like the Geico Moto-X Team??? Guess will find out when we see the race on tv in two week's. |

I had Breeann (marketing and hospitality for RMR) send a copy of this thread to our apparel guy. He is working on having an apparel trailer at each race....also online apparel available. Hopefully he will make it available before Road Atlanta. I promise to keep you posted. And THANKS...its an honor that you guys want our stuff. |

I just spoke with our apparel guy and he is working busily on some awesome designs for shirts and other merchandise for all of you...
If you have any suggestions on what your looking for please send me a message and let me know.
Hopefully I will have merchandise at Road ATL and soon after a complete website so you can purchase this stuff online...I will make sure to keep everyone updated |

I'd like to suggest the race duct tape idea from another thread. Have the gecko with Buell Racing logo on rolls of duct tape.
And an ad idea from another thread.

How funny would it be to have the geccko in an add in the pits, using a bolt to crack open peanuts, with the team in the background busily trying to get the pod taped back on.
It could end with "Oh, I'm sorry, should I have left this on there?"...
Not very many people would get it, but those that did, would be rolling on the floor laughing...

The gecko idea is cute. But he should say "I'm sorry, did you need this?" while holding up the screw. Then maybe a side to side look. "More tape?"
It would be another "oops" type commercial like the missing dollar one. |
