Anyone using nos on their bikes for racing if so how big of shot you normally use and what kit has been successful and what sort of ignition changes to the stock ecm are going to be required. |

213, I did but on a tuber, ran 20/30/and 40 shot. Ran cold plugs with non-extended tips and gapped down to 24. This was a wet kit from Nitrous Express IIRC. Separate fuel pump etc. Do not forget a fuel pressure safety switch--it will shut off nitrous if your fuel pressure fails so you don't run lean--that is very BAD thing with NOS.Ask me how I know!I had timing retard available but never got a big enough shot to need it.Bottlewarmer was nice too, to keep pressure in bottle constant. Depending on which 08 you have if you can use ECM Spy you can change timing and fuel tables for wide open throttle to keep it rich enough, though I would not try to use a "dry" kit. |

Proper quench is of major concern with nitrous...poor quench will detonate the motor to death...ask me how I know The thing I really like about nitrous at the dragstrip is how it evens out the consistancy pass to pass....and all the fun finish line games you can play with a good control system. |
