I got my front fairing, airbox and seat from Airtech. The side panels and under tail came from Grand Stand Designs and are made by Flexiglass. The belly pan not in this picture came from Buell racing.

I believe Hal's is the exclusive way to get Sharkskinz. Grandstand distributes Flexiglass, I believe. I think he's on this forum and friendly to Buell racers. Yoyodyne has Sebimoto glass too. |

I use Airtech. The 1125R fairing fit perfectly (even though it's going on my M2). |

Sharkinz from hal's. Check my profile pic. It is one peice though, kinda expensive to replace in a crash as compared to the Airtech muiltiple peices. |

didn't Eric Buell spend hours in the wind tunnel developing a new fairing because the typical, probably sharkskin or the like wasn't very aerodynamic? The catalystracing place does have an RR copy fairing, but I don't know how close. |

Catalyst Racing Composites! Sharkskinz quality at a better price! A very good product! BTW Duggram paint that thing! All white would be nice on that bike! http://www.catalystracingcomposites.com/ Matthew (Message edited by mtmansl on January 09, 2009) (Message edited by mtmansl on January 09, 2009) |

Shoot the guys at Glendale a note about Catalyst - it was their bike that was used for the model to make the tooling. You can get Ernie Snair through the link on sponsor page. Flexiglass bodywork sold through Grandstand Designs is really great - but I've only seen it used in racing application. You'd have to ask Pete about its suitability for a streetbike (lights, fans, etc) Either way, there are good options. I haven't seen the Sharkskinz yet so can't comment but again, Hals' is a sponsor here so give them a shout. Sebimoto/Yoyodyne is made in Europe and shipped over here. Some stuff is typicaly made in batches and if they are out of stock it can take many months to get parts (don't ask me how I know) |
