Seth and I will be making the trip. We are dragging our friend Craig down to race this time around. He is going to be getting his license on Friday with MARRC. |

Hey Pete(Blublak), so far everyone who has posted on this thread with the exception of you, will be on track racing at summit.... We have all voted and have unanimously decided that you need to cool off your shutter finger and warm up your throttle hand and your knee pucks. Your plenty fast at your track days, Its time to go racing.. If you decide not to race, you should bring your 1125R out anyway so i can race it in supertwins..hehehe See you there, Seth |

Hey Blublack, here's the solution...shoot pictures and ride... This would have given me great footage back in May. At lap 6 when the three lead experts passed me down the front straight and thru turn one.

Hmmm.. That would give me a new angle that I normally don't shoot at the races.. the 'Just about to pass me' angle.. Seth, thanks for the vote of confidence about my abilities.. but I think I'll stick to just for fun for now.. heck, I don't even have a license (unlike Wendy who already took the school) and I don't think they need my old fat but trying to steal next to last (I'd fight like hell to avoid being last - but that's just me) from some kid that's just starting out.. hehehehe.. yeah, like that would happen.. Maybe you guys could set up a new class.. the 'shutterbug' class.. only pro shutters allowed and we'd all go around for ten minutes or 4 laps (whichever comes first) and let you racer types try and take pictures of US for a change.. |

Bemisderfer doesn't really need the "top step on the podium", does he?! Congratulations all. Ben |

Actually.. if you notice.. there is no 'Top Step' .. He's standing on the same level as the other two.. It's just elation that made it so much better - By the way, for the ASRA Thunderbike race congrats have to go to all the Buell racers, but standouts have to be Brian, Dave Estok (both of whom got around Nate who had the lead coming into turn 6) Brian rode a great race and watching him slip past Dave (who ran 6 a little wide opening the door for Brian to scrape by) who had earlier passed Nate.. And to Carl Reid - No. 247 - who managed to get between Joe Rosinsky and Art Diaz (both experts and very fast) and stay there for a 5th place finish).. Keith Delk, Sam Rosinsky and Pete Alesso all of whom finished out the top 9.. and made their Buells look very fast (one of the BMW folks there was thinking that the Buells were pulling a fast one since he thought only the BMW was HP limited) The tenth bike (I forget the rider) pulled in with mechanical problems. and all the rest that rode this weekend.. Dang Jose.. I guess you're going to have to wait for my website to see the SATURDAY SWIM MEET at Summit Point.. Wait'll you get a load of that one.. Dont' believe me.. Check the results.. I think 8 bikes started.. one didn't make the first lap.. Then they started falling off in the wet until only three were still on track and as soon as they completed a full lap, they ended the race - 8 minutes early. Ok, stay tuned, I'll try and start putting together some pages tonight.. with any luck I can have something up before I leave for Indy.. |
