Brad: yes, the only caveat is that Peter's 150 club attempt has priority, as does the (remote) possibility that we have to cannabilize the bike for parts for one of the other race bikes. Last time out, this bike had about 82hp and we had several folks use it for 130 club runs with 100% success. So if you've got an M2 with that much, it'll probably make it. |

Reading the above thread and not having an LSR rule book, and looking at my Shoei RF-900 helmet which is Snell 2000 approved, and reading above references to a Snell 2002 rating, I'm wondering if it has been clarified what helmet rating is required for this year's event. Don't think I can make it this year, but may try to have a bike ready for next year's event assuming I get done with school and still have a bike to play with by then. |

MikeJ, There is no M2002 standard, the M2000 is the most current standard. http://www.smf.org/ James |

For those concerned, The present standard (rule) is a M95 but will be M2000 in 2004 or 2005 at Bonneville. My new lid is M2000, but will be bringing my M95 helmet for those with big heads like me (7 5/8). Ray |

Court, I really like the graphic Henrick posted above. Would make a real nice decal (hint I'd buy a couple or five. Just a thought, Ray |

Court, I called the above Shannon Reed, She took my information, but said that the "Woz" hadn't got back with her yet about the block of rooms. She said she would be able to confirm as soon as he got back with her. Henrick, I didn't mean to minimize Chainsaw's artwork. I was only agreeing with your opinion of the choice and stating that it would make a great decal. Great job on the artwork Chainsaw. To all, I concede to Court about the date for the Snell M2000 rule. The offer of the use of my M95 lid on the salt though, still stands. Ray edited by fssnoc2501 on July 21, 2003 |

Someone? I will try again to make reservation tomorrow morning. Never could get a hold of Shannon at (888) 217-3727 or her cell at (801) 589-8241 on Friday, Saturday or today but did leave a message. Al least I know the numbers are good. Question; 1. I want to be at the Salt Flats to help setup camp (like in years past). Is that "time" going to be like last year and be noon'ish "or" first thing in the morning the 18th? Should I make reservation for the NIGHT of the 17th? Yes/No 2. Same thing for "leaving Bonneville". What should be the last night I stay in the hotel (reservation wise) be? The 21st? Yes/No Thanks, -JW:>

I'd keep trying Shannon. She does the reservations for all three hotels and has always done a good job of calling back. I'm not sure what the various schedules are, but I've visited with several folks wanting to arrive early to help the USFRA folks and get involved in TEAM ELVES camp set-up. For what it's worth and whatever clues it may yield, I'm arranging to have Richard collected at SLC around noon on 9-18-03. He leaves SLC late afternoon on Monday, 9-22-03. Court |

Just need to know I have a twin room booked for 5 nights. See you on the salt 45 days till I fly and counting |

Hell, he's so pretty MEN fall all over him! Re: Shannon, I faxed room requests for myself/Susan and another room for Brian/Richard Wednesday of last week, requested a confirmation number, have heard nothing. Hmmm ... Jim, yes, We're arriving the afternoon of the 17th, setup is the 18th, check-out is the morning of the 22nd. So basically if you want to be there for the whole shindig, get a room starting the 17th for 5 nights. |
