For those of you familiar with LSR history, you may know Warner Riley. He rode for George Smith (S&S) in the 60's and 70's and set a couple of records at Maxton a couple years ago with Carl Marrow. He went 212 in 1970 on a PS Sportster. He also has the coolest liscense plates ever, 212XLCH Yesterday he was serious hurt in a motorcycle accident. He is awake, but not all there. Several broken bones including ribs, femur and vertebrae. Let's hope he recovers fully Lutheran General Hospital, 1775 Dempster Street, Park Ridge, Illinois, 60068. Phone #847-723-2210

Warner was at the 2008 Bubs event and seems to have recovered well. |

Yes. I saw him at S&S's 50th and talked to him over the last couple of weeks via Email. He is going to make it to one of the next two Maxton events too. Ever see his license plate? XLCH212 |
