Too bad Buell won't pony up the cash, because here's a quality rider. http://www.roadracingworld.com/news/article/?artic le=27851 They would definitely need a full factory backed effort to cover his paycheck though. |

Hodgson already turned down an offer for the Rizla Suzuki ride in the British Superbike Championship. It seems he really had his heart is set on a return to World Superbike. Something tells me he wouldn't be content with Buell FX ride for any amount of money. It would be cool to have him though. |

I think you are right Dwiggs. It would be a big step backward for him. However, if he is unemployed, he's better off racing anything to keep his skills honed. He has a chat area on his website, Schmitty why don't you try posting your suggestion there and see how well it is received. http://www.neilhodgson.com/ |

I read an interview a while back where he jokingly referred to riding for Buell. I can't remember where I read it or saw it though. I don't think it is the ride he's looking for or would even consider. |

If it wasn't a big step back for McWilliams, why would it be that big of a step for Neil. I think he would enjoy it at least as much as Jeremy did, who told me he thought riding the Buell was a hoot. There is no money for any rider, or team, so why would he receive it positively? jimidan |
