On 9/23 he took the Am Thunderbike win at NHIS with a total time of 11:22.73 and a fastest lap of 1:26.554. For the three races he ran this year, he took 2 wins and a second place by only .45 of a second. It looks like someone will be moving up into Expert class pretty soon. Great job Robert. |

Today Robert must have been taking it easy. He only managed to get second place. He also ran the second fastest lap that he has run all season. This was almost 7 seconds faster then his fastest on Sept 23 where he claimed a victory. 802 has stolen the podium, and he is not giving it back. Update: LRRS Thunderbike championship results. Johnson placed 5th in the overall championship out of 18 having run only 4 of the 8 races. Each of the racers placing ahead of him scored points in 7 out of the 8 races. It will be interesting to see what next year brings. So far he has 10 races under his belt and an index of 0.845. 3 races left until he is eligible for advancing to expert class. Thanks for the congrats. This was the last weekend of the year at loudon. We got a 1st in Amt. GTL, 2nd in Amt. light weight GP, 2nd in Amt. thunderbike, and a 3rd in Amt. Supertwins. I say "we got..." because it was a true team effort. I would like to thank my Dad, my wife, my mom, dave, ralph, and Rob for all their help throughout the season. |
