Picotte was not only the best Harley VR1000 pilot, he is also one of the nicest guys in the paddock. He is currently an owner/rider for Yamaha Canada as well as playing a pretty big part (owner as well?) in the Deeley Buell race team. I don't know what kind of contract he has with Yamaha, but I would like to see him make a return to the AMA.
