Dana, You must bring that insane hybrid you have a photo of on your profile!!! Yes ??? I thought a kringle was a pastry...... and I was hoping it was because by that time of day I will need some SUGAR... Can you get a chocolate kringle? Is there any espresso available by Uke's or do I have to bring my own? Charlotte |

Yes, UPS ships people, but if you notice, they each come in two packages. Perhaps cheaper, but the required reassembly on arrival makes it less than desirable. |

Dana, while others are trying to figure out what kringle is, I'll ask the important question - which bakery are you going with? Oh, and might I suggest a blueberry one? |

CORRECT ZIP CODE FOR BANTZ: 47348 Well....all hope of an orderly civil gathering just went down the crapper. Henrik, a "no go" as of sunset last night, started bitching and whining about paying for a rental car. So, in "Elf" fashion, Bantz just called and he's heading out of Hartford City, IN to pick Henrik up in Chicago and drive him to Wisconsin. There are alot of reasons to live in Wisconsin. Milwaukee has more festivals in a year than any city in the world. The lakes and forrests are second to none. All that is at risk the moment a Danish Doctor, chauffered by a King of Bodywork from Indiana, crosses the border. If I worked for a major corporation, I'd put in for immediate transfer. If I was planning on attending the Uke's thing.....well, I'd certainly bolster my moral fiber my chanting psalms before I exposed myself to the likes of those I expect to see. News fro the Elf-Comm system....{"we have Cajuns in the air"}. A report supported by the FAA Bulletin that just hit. . . "757 seen passing Oklahom a City at 1164 KIA has just set a record for the fastest commercial jetliner ever clocked" All that could frizzle to....someone reported a closed trailer with a drape covered object on the city limits that appears to be an exact copy waiting to see how fast the Cajun goes.... Life......Like singing with Jello in your mouth! |

OK....I'm late, most the Elves are in the air on the way to you, and I have a dog to wash before leaving town. This is the point where I generally share two important things, time is going to force me to talk fast....you'll be able to follow. THING ONE: We are a FUN team. We race vigorously, but the single notable benefit of our association are the people we've met and become friends with. WE WANT YOU SAFE. Write the rest of the lecture, you've heard it from your Mother and old timers have heard me for years....play the tape about drinking and driving, motorcycle safety in all the excitement etc. PLEASE BE SAFE AND HAVE FUN. THING TWO: Forgive me, and try to understand. The people who build your Buells love them and are as passionate as you. They WANT to be part of the excitement and have contributed THEIR OWN time and money to TEAM ELVES success. They have a RIGHT to attend without being "drug back to their desk". I am going to ask anyone who has a bitch, bone to pick, axe to grind or someone who's ass they think they need to kick to observe common manners and treat OUR FRIENDS as our friends. I want these folks welcome to attend and HAVE FUN. Please understand and welcome them as you would me......er,perhaps I'd better make that Henrik.....yeah Henrik. LAST THING: You guys and gals have done ONE INCREDIBLE JOB. In Colorado people (who shall go unnamed) stole cars to get there and wrnagled with the local law to stay. You Wisconites and the spattering of Iowanians have taken this seed of an idea and create what may be one of the bigger Buell events of the year. HINT: Next time make it juuuuuuuuuuuuust small enough to stay under Fireman Jim's "travel threshold"...you guys are going to PAY FOR THAT! FINAL THING: Get refried beans. You are beautiful, I am outta here and you are in control until we talk again. THANK YOU FROM TEAM ELVES Court |
