I know I'm planning on riding. I heard something about Aaron performing a laying on of hands to improve horsepower or something of the sort. Dana, if you need someone to help out with transporting kringle and beans, let me know. I'm about 15 minutes (by truck, less by Buell) from Uke's so it might cut some time off for you if you wanted to meet up sometime earlier on Friday and pass off the grub since it's a shorter trip for me to drop it off and run back for my bike than it is for you. Just let me know if I can help you out any way. Jason |

seems this virtual band of brigandes has out-yacked the vast majority of BRAG groups in Storm Fronts . . . the memeber ship may not be the largest (though I wouldn't bet against that), but we sure are talky |

Bomber...Are you talking registered membership or active membership? If you're referring to "active membership", I think we have more people involved in this one event than we can get at any of our chapter events combined (at least in the greater Chicago/Milwaukee area). |

Brad, You got email to your profile link. WHAT THE HELL IS A KRINGLE, ANYWAY? Charlotte Charlotte, As near as can be reconoitered, a kringle has appeared to have taken on a new and somewhat untraditional form having become exposed to the phenomon of the creature called Elves, or more specifically and accurately TeamElves which is a whole 'nother type altogether. Anyway, a TeamElvesKringle at best guess appears to be a concoction or combination of a traditional Kringle (not sure if it's with or without raisins), refried beans, baked beans (don't think they're Boston Baked Beans(tm)), pickled herring (probably sans the cream sauce) and possibly something that starts with an L. Rumor has it that some westerner may try to add a little guacamole for color, but with the aforementioned contents I think it will be colorfull enough as is, or as was as the case may quickly become considering the company at hand or as planned. I'm thinking someone ought to get ahold of Ms. Betty Crocker herself and invite her down to learn what true homologliation cooking is all about. And as I sit here thinking, I'm thinking that a Calzone just might make for a fair counter-rouge and would potentially make for one fine and fancy burrito modification and would be one fine repository for the aforementioned beans and whatnot should anyone want to truely confuse the traditional Kringle lovers out there. Throw on a little sour cream and salsa and the bases will be covered. I do find it interesting that the concept of "cheese" has somehow been lacking in the whole food conversations (unless I missed it which is entirely possible). MikeJ (Is there any wonder that I never became a cook or a chef?) |

Dana, Not to worry. I dare say that the kringles will be the first things to disappear. They are good. In fact I'm very tempted to run down to Lincoln avenue to Grebes and grab one for home tonight, way out of the way, but worth it sometimes. |
