So, after having the zipper fixed twice on the Buell factory tang bag, I finally gave in and purchased the Wolfman Explorer Lite. But I kept all the mounting stuff from factory (this is relevant to my story). I didn't like the Wolfman mounting option (long straps, and messy) so I re-purposed all the mounting points from the factory bag. The portion attaching to the bottom of the tank was problematic; thus considered staples, thick needle/thread, glue; but four zip ties later, problem solved! I like the way it looks, fits perfect!

Why the pictures posted in this orientation to have you tilting your heads far left, I have no clue. Another note to add, when I bought the bag, it sure wasn't over 200 clams (maybe inflation?! but wow). In either case, I thought to share my little journey of my tank bag "situation" (and conclusion) with my group of fellow Buell Uly owners, if nothing else for your information. The factory tank bag had the right idea for the mounting; but not so much in the QC department for the bag (zipper in particular); but it's now been rectified. |

Any contact of this tank bag and starter button in a short right hand turn? Just asking. |

Ourdee, yes that helps, thx! Sage, in response to your question, no issues with that so far and I did test it on-road at near full extension. |
