Hi all, it's been a while but I'm stuck w/a little issue on my 2007 Uly.

After a little fall, I'm in the midst of repairs. I am stuck troubleshooting the left turn signals. Right side, no problem. But my left front blinks fast, left rear - nothing. I swapped to a new flasher after checking my fuses. It's still the same (yes, I did change out to new bulbs). I am open to the wisdom of this forum. Suggestions?

Front is good.
Relay is good.
Problem is between relay and left rear.
First test left rear bulb.
Then test left rear wiring. You have a broken bulb or wire for power or bad ground for left rear. When that happens the reduced load causes the relay to cycle faster. That flashes the front left bulb too fast.

You might have pulled the connector apart. They are located way back inside the tail light housing. I had the same problem, and it seems a PO had routed the wiring wrong, and they were too tight. One plug had disconnected.

Gents, thanks. I did check the rear connector and tried a new bulb. What I'll try next is to test the bulb and ground for the left rear.

Where is the ground located for the left rear?

If the ground from bulb to frame tests good, you don't need to know. And if it tests bad, you can follow the wire. I know I'm a smart alf.

Solved: Ha,"...And if it test bad, you can follow the wire." That there is like what (Excalibur, 1981) Merlin said to Percival when asked,"Which way to the kitchen?", when he replied with "Follow your nose." Ok ok, so I was fishing for an exact location. Upon removing the under-seat cowling (two bolts near the license plate) and two screws underneath the compartment area, in the "nest" of wiring, I found that the ground wire connector was disconnected. I'm assuming there was tension there which popped the connectors loose upon impact. Now it's fixed. Thanks again gentlemen.

I had a similar issue. It was the rear blinker plug loosen up under the rear seat. Follow the connectors all the way down the under the passanger seat behind the rear light. There's a bunch a plugs all independent for each side of the blinkers. It might work. Good luck!

Yup, under the rear part of the seat, the two bolts holding the license plate light (flat plastic cowling) is where I found the "nest" of wiring (held and stuck with thin and cheap tape) and the culprit. Now I have a spare signal flasher; but oh well, it's now all fixed. That along with a few other repairs since the mishap, good as new. Now I just need to find the time for a longer ride.
