Was the power on the Guzzi comparable to the Ulysses? |

Steve, the specs show 80hp/59 torques on a 505lb (wet) bike. Sounds like the Uly would be more spry. |

I know that dyno charts can be all over the place but I think the Guzzi might be pretty close despite the weight. Having ridden a few Guzzis I know that they really get going once you spin the motor up a bit. I'm going to guess that while the bikes are comparable in output the Guzzi will accelerate faster. Neither one will terrify you, though.

They got luggage on it, that's a real good thing. Won't that dinky little front fender pack full of mud? |

It looks like electrically adjustable damping is an option for the forks, if not standard. No good views of the shock but Showa does make a set. |

Wow - good point! When did HD last have a chain drive? That being said, there's nothing wrong with an O-ring (or x-ring) chain. Sure - a chain is 'noisier', and you have to maintain it, but you don't have to worry about pebbles, and you can change it a lot easier and cheaper than a belt. |

When did HD last have a chain drive? VR-1000? The military bike? Just guesses... |

I think XLH bikes went over in 1990. Big twins earlier than that I'm pretty sure. Are those little 500 and 750 bikes belt drive? |

So the latest HP numbers are in at around 145 and torque of 96 or so. This sounds very competitive. Who knows if they will be able to keep it under $20K, I do doubt it |
