Can anyone please tell me if you need to reflash the stock ECM or add a race ECM if you switch to a Drummer exhaust? I apologize if this has been discussed previously. I searched but couldn't find a thread. Thanks. | ||

In my honest opinion, even with the stock exhaust, it makes that much of a difference, especially on the 08+ bikes The Drummer is designed to be used with either stock or race ECM, but you REALLY should get the right ECM with it. | ||

I have the Drummer SS on a 2008 Uly ... ran with stock ECM, and got the IDS ECM specifically for the bike and exhaust ... BIG improvement in starting, running, performance and sound !  | ||

I'm with the frog here. I bought a IDS race ECU to replace my original one that flaked out. Easier to start/run when cold, more smoother power right off the line. I'm running a K&N filter with stock muffler. No loss of fuel economy either. It just runs better, period. |
