Are the torque #s the same for the 2010 three bearing axle as the 2009 two bearing - i.e. 25#, back off 2 full turns, then 50#? HD dealer apparently over-torqued axle at last tire change and crushed dust seal on rotor side - bearings are very tight and hard to turn with thumbs. Should they be replaced?

If he crushed the dust seal, he probably forgot to install the spacer on that side. Torque spec is the same. I do find the bearings on my 3-bearing wheel harder to turn than they were on the 2-bearing wheel.

I think you're right - he probably forgot the spacer on install, then found it and reinstalled with spacer in place. I can't turn the bearings with my fingers at all. I installed the wheel and spacer without the belt - the wheel only spins a couple of turns and makes a noise that doesn't sound right. I don't trust it so looking at replacing all the bearings - should the inside spacer also be replaced?

I'd say measure it but we apparently don't have a length spec for the 2010 spacer. Probably best to replace it. Better get dust seals too.
