I raised my triple tree about 7/16 and I can ride without crushing the family jewels but I lost my power steering. LOL It use to turn in very easily and now it needs some effort. It's amazing who these tiny adjustments effect the bike so much! It was either this or a different rear spring. This looked easier.

You could always get your seat reworked by Sargent Cycles or another outfit to change the slope. I'd do that before I'd screw up the handling of my bike. |

Hmmm, never heard of Sargent Cycles. Do you think he can do that seat with the split in the middle? I've seen some BMW with it but I forget the name brand. I have 3 different seats, 3 different heights and all of them still had me resting on my nuts while cruising. As soon as I get on the gas or going up hill I was perfectly comfortable. The bike still handles well but I did like the handling before better. Thanks I'll try finding him on the interweb... |

Just in case you didn't find it: http://www.sargentcycle.com/Custom-Seat-Services/ I've had a couple of seats reworked by them and they do good work. You can even call and discuss what you're trying to accomplish and they'll advise you. On what modifications they recommend. |

Baldwin Custom Cycle Saddles is who I used. They did a great job on my seat. |

I'd rather have the handling. |
