Hi All, For sale is my 08 XB12XT. I love the bike but I've come to realize that the bike just doesn't suit my needs very well. I live near a bunch of trails and fire roads and I just find that I'd rather be off road more. I'd love to see the bike go to someone who will ride it more than I have been. Here's my Craigslist ad: https://seattle.craigslist.org/sno/mcy/6077498822. html Asking $5500 O.B.O. 2100 miles The bike is located in Gold Bar WA which is about 45 miles east of Seattle. Best way to contact me is text. I'm happy to answer any questions. 360-649-0025 Thanks, -Dave |

You need to add a zero on the milage or take one off on the CL add ? |

Yup, my mistake. Thanks for catching it, Njloco. The CL ad is correct. 21000 miles on the bike. I can't edit the original post. Is there a trick to it? |

I am in Spokane and in the market for one of these as soon as I get my cruiser sold. If your bike lasts that long I will certainly hit you up. My other ride is a retired ambulance that started life in Gold Bar. I would love to drive it over there to pick up this bike. Time will tell. |

My Craigslist ad expired. Instead of having to keep two places updated, I'll put the ad here also: 2008 Buell Ulysses XB12XT. I'm sure that if you're looking for a Ulysses, you already know a lot about these bikes. The XT is the touring model, with more road-oriented suspension than the X model. It's done just fine on hard-pack fire roads and the like. I don't think I would take it on single track, but anything is possible. In 2008, Buell updated a few things on the bike: They changed the oil pump to address a bearing starvation issue in the earlier years and the increased the steering lock, also heated grips became standard - All very nice things to have. In addition to the updates for the '08 model year, this bike also has the rear wheel and axle from a 2010 X model. In 2010, Buell updated all their bikes with a 3-bearing rear wheel replacing the 2-bearing wheel used previously. If you've done any research on Buells, you'll know there are plagued with rear wheel bearing failures prior to the update. Additionally, the X model wheel is stronger than the XT wheel so it's an added benefit. Recent services include: - Front wheel bearings replaced over the winter - New brake pads (Lyndall Gold) front and rear toward the end of last season - Primary Fluid replaced mid-last season (20k mile interval) - New Avon Trailrider tires in June of last year - they have tons of life left. Stuff the bike comes with: - Owner's manual - Factory Service Manual - Factory parts catalog (very useful when buying parts from Harley) - Factory wiring diagram and electrical troubleshooting manual - Factory windscreen and flyscreen - Comfort Kit - Madstad windshield bracket on Madstad flyscreen - Madstad windshield - Factory Hepco-Becker luggage (panniers and top box) - All Balls taper bearing kit for steering stem (not installed) - All Balls fork seals kit (not installed) - Complete set of rear wheel bearings (not installed) - Two uncut factory keys - Three bottles of HD fork oil - Primary cover gasket - A bottle of primary fluid - A couple of exhaust studs - Aprilia Tuono mirrors - Probably some other stuff I'm forgetting. I'm happy to answer any questions you have. |

Crackership, you stated that you replaced the rear wheel with an "X" wheel as they are stronger. I thought all the "X" wheels where Titanium in color. Did you have yours painted or maybe powder coated black? Or, did the 2010 "X" actually have black wheels? Just wondering, thanks! (Message edited by motorbike on April 15, 2017) |

Motorbike, I actually purchased the bike with the 3-bearing X wheel on it. I was merely highlighting that the X wheel is stronger than the XT wheel. However, I had completely forgotten that it is gunmetal. Thanks for reminding me! It's really very subtle (so subtle that I have forgotten about it). But, of course, if the next owner feels inclined, it would totally be possible to paint/powdercoat it black. |

Bump for price drop. Just reduced the Craigslist ad to $5200. Make me an offer, I would love to free up the space in the garage |

Go get you another one! I sold my Uly after 76,000 miles and immediately missed it. I dallied with going away from the brand for about a month. Picked up an 08 SS and couldn't be more pleased! It's the bike I love most in my stable. |
