http://www.chaparral-racing.com/product/bridgeston e-battlax-bt-023-sport-touring-rear-tire/330-14415 2.aspx Vaporized a Bridgestone T-30R GT in less than 5K, not happy about that since the front is still in great shape. Tire performed well but I need more mileage from a multi-compound. Went to Chaparral to look at PR-2 Michelins and saw a BT-023 on the rack. Checked the date and it was fresh, 39/15. Asked at the counter and the guy said Bridgestone brought them back. I'm glad about that since they go 9K or so with me. Price was great too. Had one put on, wife and I went for a mountain ride this w/e and it performed great with the T-30 front. To be fair we've done a lot of heavy 2-up the last few months with the T-30, so we'll see how the BT-023 fares under those conditions. |

I have never got more than about 3500 from a rear in my life. |

Dan you don't have to do a burn out to heat up the tire every time you go riding it will warm up on its own. |

9K from bt/023? How are you guys getting such mileage? I got a little over 5k each from the 2 I bought from ex-work. Otherwise no complaints with performance. |

I had about 6k on a t30 GT and it was still in great shape and I ride pretty hard. I had to change it though I just got a flat last week. I went with the new EVO compound and tread pattern. For some reason it was like $6 bucks cheaper than the old one. |
