How about $8999 for an SX demonstrator: http://www.badweatherbikers.com/buell/messages/713 493/760551.html?1429533352 |

Anything over $8,000 on a 1190 EBR bike is now just a crap shoot since there won't be replacement parts available! I can get a new Triumph Bonnieville for around $9,000 and there are dealers with parts available for those! Not to mention that they are a more comfortable motorcycle to ride to begin with! |

Fixed: Anything over $8,000 on a 1190 EBR bike is now just a crap shoot since there may not be replacement parts available! Since EBR is in receivership (NOT bankrupt) there's at least the possibility another company will buy EBR intact and resume production. Worst case, if nobody steps up, all EBR's assets (bikes, tools, parts, and designs) would be auctioned off and somebody would hopefully wind up with a truckload or two of spares. http://www.asphaltandrubber.com/oped/erik-buell-ra cing-receivership-explained/ |
