Sorry if this has been covered, but what are the differences between the regular Uly and a 2009 XB12X-P? |

Actually it was only available on the 09/10 model and had came in black or white with te special duty decal on the airbox cover. It was an X model with XT windshield and the junior/outdoorsman bags The light and siren kit could be ordered separately or purchased to retrofit a regular X or XT model. |

And the main wiring harness was different to accommodate the lighting/siren kit. It would NOT retrofit to a "regular" X or XT, there were no plugs for the emergency kit "brain". The bikes shipped with saddlebags, but the top case was part of the siren package - they only left the factory with side bags. |

The wiring harness was part of the siren/light kit. I installed this kit into my 08 and it works perfectly... |

I just went to the parts catalog . .which shows all the law enforcement kit and it's component parts and started ordering. Someone had said something about having to be "law enforcement" to buy the stuff. I ordered the stuff from various dealers to see what would happen. Had it all in less than 10 days. Always thought I'd mount and use the lighted "pursuit" switch . . but never did.
