. . . so I transitioned from stealthy tactical black Line-X body work to the "slow" orange flyscreen. . .
Kidding aside, I noticed a few weeks ago how much more noticeable the Barricade Orange flyscreen was on a Uly that I passed on the way to work, so it made sense, especially as we get to the dark, rainy part of the year to make this swap; this way I'm not quite as invisible as with the tactical black. . .
Realize this is just a "fluff" thread, but rolled over 70,000 on the way to work this morning and feeling damn good about it. . . Ride Safe |

What brand auxillary lights are you running? I like your color combo, it is quite unique. |

I have a racing stripe from high reflective 3M hwy sign material. one day I was trailing a pack of Sport bikes headed into the sun, they kept turning around to look back- I think they wondered if i was a cop or UFO or something. I have some extra if anyone wants to try it, both white and orange colors.. |

"70K yards." Had a feeling the "slow orange" comment might offend some of our more hyper-sensitive viewers - - and EG rarely disappoints. . . Alan - the color of the Buell emblems on the air box match the flyscreen, though it doesn't like look it. The auxiliary lights are from MotoLight; here's the link: http://www.motolight.com/ Get there faster, RIDE BLACK. . . |

Being a Barricade Orange owner for over eight years has me hardened to any attempts at harassing those of us whom are so fortunate. WE know what faster colors really are. Hell, most of us don't argue the speed of our Uly colors anymore because we are getting along in age to the point that the only speed that really matters is the line to the bathroom! |

Amen, Etenn An aside to your bathroom comment. I have fewer (more miles between) rest stops riding the Ulysses vs my Honda VTX1300. (Message edited by teeps on October 21, 2014) |

My 06 is Black. My son's 07 is Ronald McDonald Orange. Both are fast enough. Who need bathrooms when there is always plenty of trees near most roads. |

Foto - Like the look of the stripe, I've used some of the black retro-reflective on the Uly luggage, but a great idea to put some up front. . . "...the only speed that really matters is the line to the bathroom!" I too, have had to redefine the term "All Nighter". . . Odo shot:
Full disclosure, I've always liked the Barricade Orange color - - I have a NIB orange air box I purchased back in 2011 that I've never mounted. . . and besides, during this time of year the orange just seems a bit more . . . "festive"
