Well, not literally but close. Took a little ride in between chores today, heading home, turn a corner and see an unusual bike in a parking lot. Just had to double back for a second look and there was an X, same year and color as my XT. Owner came up as I was parking, found out he lives just around the corner, I was only about three miles from home and he's on Badweb. Here I've owned my bike almost a full six years and this is the first time I've seen him. Go figure. |

For several mornings I saw a black Uly heading East on the Eads bridge, crossing the Mississippi into East St. Louis. I was heading West into work but then they changed our starting times and I haven't seen him again. These things seem to be rare as hen's teeth! One of the reason's I like it! |

Its funny I can go 6 months without a Buell sighting but earlier this summer on my way home from work I saw a bike in the driveway of the home directly behind me. At a glance I thought maybe it was a V-Strom or something similar so on my walk to the mailbox I walked around the corner to check it out, xb12x, same as mine. Was waiting to see the owner in the yard to introduce myself but never saw him, just the bike. They packed up and moved out a couple months later, it will probably be another 6 months until another sighting. |

"They packed up and moved out a couple months later" It's said that Lincoln's father wanted to move when he could see the smoke from another settler's chimney. Maybe this guy felt the same way about Ulys? |

I only see guys on Ulys when I'm on my HD or my Scrambler. I wave and they have no idea why. |
