I bought a set a few years ago. They do work but please be advised, there is a steep learning curve. A couple of tips will help you get ahead of the curve; first, if you pull a hand out while underway say to scratch your nose, you can't get it back in. second, you can't see the controls. Now I know this sounds silly and it really is on a Buell but when I strapped them to my Ultra, it was a no go. Third, there are reports of the muffs adding a bit of pressure to the control levers. This can cause throw out bearing failure and smoked brake. If you decide to try these, take it slow and be careful. They do work to keep your hands warm and dry. I don't want to read "Here lies Sprintex. His hands were warm and dry" on your headstone. |

Don't get the Tusk brand, they are too small for the Uly. I had the same idea and the price was right but for one thing there's no provision for the mirror stems and you have to take the hand guards off. Even at that the inside is too snug for all the controls. The only good thing is the opening is held open by spring steel so you can slip your hands in and out on the go. There is another brand that works better, at three times the cost unfortunately. The only problem is I can't remember the name. I tried Google but came up dry. Thought it was something like "Gorilla Hands" but that didn't work. Maybe someone else can remember. |

Well, I did see that Givi also makes a hand mitt, model TM418, that's supposed to fit the Uly according to the fittment chart. Look good in the picture and I'd be more inclined to trust a name brand like that. |

Thanks, they did looked kind of small to fit over the Ulys hand guards. |

Jesus, this is more like a "holding" hands thing. Just how much more "basic" can this get? |

Those mitts make me pucker just looking at them. Guaranteed fouled controls at exactly the wrong moment. Yikes. |
