Anybody ever think a coil on plug arrangement would work for the ULY? No plug wires with coil on plug. Any reasons this might not work? Doen't the 1125 have a coil on plug arrangement? http://www.jegs.com/i/JEGS+Performance+Products/55 5/40130/10002/-1 |

It might be a challenge to find space and to provide adequate support for the coil on the shaking lump, but other than that, it seems like it'd work. |

you'd have to have a solid way to mount it and even then....these don't last in my Escape without cracking from vibration...I think the Uly would shake these apart in the first hour |

I wonder if the higher head temps of an air cooled motor were an issue? On cars, I've had more coil on plug failures than I have had coil failures though. And those bastards are EXPENSIVE! |

They are pricey. $167.00 each for the 1125r coils |

I don't like coil on plugs. May be weird, but I like plug wires. |
