Any suggestions for a cover for my '09 XT? Would use it on a ride or in the garage during the winter months. Thanks for all the posts on everything. This is a great resource. |

I've got TourKing covers for my KLR and my Royal Star Venture. They are a "bikini" cover similar in size to the cover that Buell sold for the Uly (which I still have for my Uly). The TourKing covers pack very small so they are ideal for taking on the road. http://tourking.us/shop/index.php/ They don't list a cover specifically for the Uly but if you e-mail them they will tell you which cover fits. That's what I did for the KLR which isn't listed either. (Message edited by rwven on July 18, 2014) |

Mtrider, Get yourself one of these: http://www.ebay.com/itm/XL-XXL-Motorcycle-Waterpro of-UV-Protective-Breathable-Rain-Safety-Cover-Outd oor-/200913789929?pt=Apparel_Merchandise&var=&hash =item2ec76523e9&vxp=mtr They are very inexpensive (<$20 shipped). You don't have anything to lose. If you don't like it for long-term storage, just use it on trips when you have to park your bike outside overnight. If it wears out in a couple years, throw it away and buy a new one. You only paid <$20 for it. I liked this one so much, I bought second one after the first one arrived. Buy the XXL size. It goes over my '06 X with a monster Madstad windscreen and rear trunk just fine (like the picture in the listing shows), though admittedly, haven't tried it with the Buell side cases installed yet. The cover doesn't go very far down the sides of the motorcycle, but it goes down far enough. |
