Wondering where BadWeb folks are going for extended cables, primarily extended brake-line (wet) cables. Thanks. |

This guy: http://www.helperformance.us/motorcycle/buell/ made a front brake line for my Uly. $50 for SS custom length. |

Yea the brake line should be easy to obtain in any length you want, many powersports shops have spools of stainless cable and they just simply need to get the length you want and crimp on the right size banjo connectors. The clutch and throttle cables get a little bit trickier, as not many shops are equipped to make them. Might have to contact a place that does custom motorcycle builds. |

Hey Froggy and Teeps, If I might impose on your Uly Knowledge... I'm a 3" riser on the Uly (2"up - 1" back), what length cable do you suppose I need? I measured the front brake line with a fabric tape, but I'm sure it wasn't the most accurate... Any thoughts? |

Yes, use a piece of solid core electrical wire 10 or 12 gauge will work. That will be as accurate as you will get, and don't forget to include for the banjo fittings. If I recall HEL has measuring instructions on their site. The other cables... you're on your own. The Ulysses has the longest cable set from Buell, so if you can't make them work by different routing. You will need custom built cables. |
