Finally the end of the story is getting close, the bike has been said that repair excedes it's valué so the will give me the valué amount and if i keep the bike they will deduct 1100€, so my idea is to part it out, as parts are way over 1100€ and adding my injuries i can look out for an X1 that is my favourite buell. |

that insurance buy back worked well for me.. I fixed the minor damage and found out the ins co never reported the title as salvage so I went to another ins co and registered it, rode for a couple years and then sold the bike. got paid for it by insurance AND sold it for a good extra profit. |

The buyback worked out kind of OK for me from a pure $$ standpoint, but you are then left with a bike that will have all sorts of lingering hidden problems that will keep surfacing, or a massive headache to part out and sell (its incredibly how much of a PITA it is). |
